The exhibition “Evangelical motifs in sketches of church frescoes by great Russian artists of the XIX–XX centuries” presents the work of the artist Claudius Lebedev “Easter” (late XIX – early XX centuries, technique: paper on cardboard; graphite pencil, watercolor, whitewash, ink).

Claudius Vasilievich Lebedev is a traveling artist, a master of genre paintings and historical compositions, a bright representative of the Russian realistic school of painting at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries.
